FAQs

Looking for things to do in Derbyshire on a rainy day? Wonder whether you can bring your dog on our Peak District tours? Get all your questions answered…

What do I need to bring with me?

It’s important to bring appropriate clothing as it can be quite windy in the back seat (less so in the front). Windproof clothing (maybe showerproof too), brimless hats and sunglasses are useful. Don’t forget the sun screen too.

Can we dress up?

Absolutely, in fact it’s encouraged!

How many passengers can you take?

I can take up to four (4) passengers and accommodate large groups too

Can you carry wheelchairs and walking aids?

Generally, yes however please ask when booking.

Can I buy a gift voucher?

Absolutely. Check out our Gifts & Specials page.

What if I need to cancel?

For your protection cancellations are only accepted in writing. A full refund is given for cancellations made 14 days or more before the tour. Unfortunately, no refund is given for cancellations made less than 14 days before the tour.
Please note, Vintage Adventure Tours reserve the right to cancel any tour or event in exceptional weather conditions. We will not generally cancel due to cold, rain, mist or fog. In the unlikely event of cancellation by Vintage Adventure Tours a full refund or alternative date will be offered.

What happens if it rains?

The car has an effective roof so the tour still goes ahead. I might need a hand to put it up though!

Do you offer bespoke tours?

Yes, let’s have a chat about what you have in mind – http://www.vintageadventuretours.co.uk/contact/

Does the car have seat belts?

The vehicle is not fitted with seatbelts. Children under the age of 16 years must travel with a responsible adult in the back seat.

Can we bring the dog?

A small well-behaved dog is welcome – but leave room for yourselves.

Can we bring a picnic?

We can supply a vintage picnic for you which is specially designed to fit in the limited space in the basket.

What about breakdowns?

I have a breakdown service which thankfully, has not yet been tested. The challenge is getting a mobile signal – it is an adventure after all.

Can we bring fizz?

Of course, no problem at all.

Can we choose pick-up points?

Absolutely however it will add to the price.
